Who we are
Rate Ames Rentals was started by Iowa State University students who believed
the residents of Ames needed a more resourceful way to search for property rentals.
Having rented numerous properties in Ames themselves, the founders knew firsthand
that viewing a property, whether in person or on a company’s website, wasn’t always
enough to tell them everything they needed to know about what it was like living
there. For this reason, they sought to create a tool that students and Ames residents
could use to research properties more intelligently.
Our Mission
To provide the students and residents of Ames with an outlet of communication
for property rentals, to give them a voice, to give them a resource, and to allow
for a more competitive renting market in the city of Ames. |
